Hurricane Ike

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the JewishGen website as a result of Hurricane Ike (see here). We hope that service disruptions will lessen as full power is restored in the Houston, TX area. 

Most importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by Hurricane Ike and those who are still in danger. The American Red Cross is organizing a massive rescue effort and they are in desperate need of funds to help provide basic necessities such as food, water and shelter.
