Ohio Birth and Death Information Will Be More Available

Ohio has a new searchable database for Ohio birth and death records
that will be available to the public in state and county offices by
the end of the year--not available to the general public such as
posting on the database on the Internet.

Searching the index will be free but the cost of a certified copy of
the birth or death record may vary by county as different counties
may add a surcharge.

Thank you to Dick Eastman on his Eastman's Online Genealogy
Newsletter for alerting us to this new information index.
