A new project –reVilna--an interactive digital mapping project on the Vilna Ghetto is now accessible online.
reVilna is a digital mapping project dedicated to understanding how the residents of the Ghetto lived, how the ghetto functioned. The map includes over two hundred points of historical significance, and paired with hundreds of photographs, collected from archives all over the world. Go to: http://revilna.org/map.html . You can either explore the Ghetto on your own, or follow built-in narratives, including Resistance, Art & Culture, Judenrat, Health & Education formation and dissolution of the ghetto. reVilna is an independent project in collaboration with YIVO.
